Instructional Design Services

Wadeware instructional designers have created dozens of instructor-led and online technical courses for major clients that include Microsoft. These training products range in length from hands-on workshops of several hours’ duration to classroom-based courses that last from 1 to 5 days.

Wadeware instructional designers are involved in the training development lifecycle from specification creation to final review, and they work closely with subject matter experts in the specified product area. The instructional design process typically entails working with clients to identify the topics to be covered; formulating learning objectives; obtaining relevant content from the product group or subject matter experts; and then building out the content in an instructionally sound manner to ensure a productive learning experience.

Wadeware instructional designers employ various learning approaches based on the needs of the target audience, including blending different content types — factual information, procedural instructions, real-world scenarios, Q&As, graphics and multimedia, and so on — with hands-on labs, assessment questions, and other proactive student activities.

Instructional Design Methodology

Wadeware has developed a methodology that we use for instructional design and IT courseware projects, as well as other technical documentation projects. This methodology provides our project teams — composed of designers, technical writers, and editors — with a process, tools, and the collateral resources they need to create high-quality content.

For more information, see our Technical Documentation and IT Courseware Methodology.
